Watch Jamie on Chef’s Table!

Take an intimate look at Jamie’s career and campaigning in Netflix’s Emmy-nominated series, Chef’s Table: Legends. Expect untold stories, a peek behind the scenes and out-of-this-world delicious food.

Hello lovely people, and a very warm welcome to those of you from across the pond,

I couldn’t be more excited that my episode of Chef’s Table: Legends is finally out in the world. I was so honoured to be asked to take part in such an iconic show. It’s incredibly humbling to look back on your career after 25 years of graft and feel proud of what we’ve achieved (and I say we, because it’s very much a team effort).

As you’ll see in the show, ever since The Naked Chef, back in 1999, I’ve wanted social impact to be at the heart of everything I do. I started the social enterprise and restaurant Fifteen – which is still the best thing I’ve ever done – then focused on child health, and I’ve never looked back. It hasn’t been easy – 25 years on and I’m still banging the drum for school food standards, but I’ve surrounded myself with brilliant people who can help deliver my vision, for which I’m eternally grateful.

This year, I’m ridiculously proud of the Ministry Of Food’s 10 Skills Programme. The pilot in the UK was so successful, we opened it out and went from teaching 11,000 kids in one year to 100,000 students. Not only that, following an amazing pilot at LA school Bellflower Unified, I’m thrilled to say that we’re now offering the programme to every middle school in the US, and sign up is open! It just goes to show that the joy of delicious, nutritious food can make real positive change.

I really hope you enjoy my episode of Chef’s Table – it’s a celebration of everything we’ve achieved over the past quarter of a century, but it’s certainly not the end of the story. I genuinely believe that by joining our voices, we can create positive change, and I hope that comes across in the show. Here’s to fighting the good fight!

Big love

Jamie O
